The river Wye has created a number of spectacular limestone cliffs on the border between Wales and England. They have provided  accessible and picturesque venues for rock climbing and abseiling for many years, with hundreds of established  routes for the beginner, intermediate and advanced climber alike.

If you want to try-out rock climbing or improve your existing skills in the outdoors I can provide a course to suit you. I have  specialised in introduction courses for people that are new to climbing outside and for those climbers who want to lead their own climbs outdoors for more than 15 years.

Further courses are available for multi-pitch mountain climbs, mountain navigation and scrambling based in North Wales. Private guiding can also be provided if you have a particular route  planned - eg Cuillin Ridge          I am based in the Forest of Dean, near the Wye Valley and always keen to talk about climbing / mountaineering - especially  Symonds Yat - Picos De Europa - Svalbard / Spitsbergen, so if you have any ideas, questions or want advice please feel free to drop me a line.
